Alex Martinez
Executive Creative Director, JWT Spain

Alex has been working for JWT since 1999 as Executive Creative Director. Starting 2006 he is member of the Management Committee and the Board of Directors. In 2008, he also became a member of the JWT Worldwide Creative Council. He began his career as a copywriter working for MMLB, Alta Definicion, RCP Saatchi & Saatchi and later, as a Creative Director for Saatchi & Saatchi and Valverde De Miquel Publicidad.

Alex has won more than 100 awards at both national and international advertising festivals, including El SOL, Lions at CANNES, Pencils at THE ONE SHOW, OJO de Iberoamerica, medals at NEW YORK, EPICA Awards, CLIO, Eurobest, Grand Prix at FIAP. His enormous experience made him a jury member for important advertising festivals, such as El Sol, Eurobest, London International Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, New York Festivals, Méribel, Cresta Awards or  Aspid Awards. In 2008 he was selected as one of the 15 most outstanding Iberoamerican creatives by AdLatina.

Alex Martinez is a graduate in Information Science and, thanks to the Institute of North American Studies and French Institute of Barcelona, he can discuss about advertising  and more in Spanish, English and French.
